This house was built in 1927 for banker Milton Getz and designed by Gordon Kaufmann. Hearst bought for $ 120,000 in 1947. Wood House Panels by Marià Castelló Martinez
The house and studio is divided by the core infrastructure: library, filing cabinets, bathrooms, kitchens, closets, Murphy beds, mechanical, and two Iroko sliding wood panels that can partition of the space needed, such as for the living room. Castello Maria Martinez designed and build a beautiful minimalist house for himself on the Spanish island of Formentera. This building is 12 × 12 square meters, sitting between existing timber and a traditional old stone wall.
