Designed by Isolation Unit & Yosuke Ichii Architect, J House is a private residence for a married couple with three children in a suburb of Kagawa, Osaka, Japan. A single plain volume with a generous space in between of two boxes, the rooms inside the J House are continuously interconnected in the most stylish way. Somehow secluded from people’s eyes, the contemporary residence manages to charm with its white perfect furnishings and the wooden accents on the inside.

Very spacious and with energy-saving features (not to worry about heating and cooling in the changing seasons), all this makes not only fun but a true dream home in every aspect. We liked the shiny tile and wood accents on the inside and more importantly in a way that looks at night with all the lights. A brilliant design by Safdie Rabines.
