This contemporary mountain home using time honored and traditional local materials, construction manuals, and using the strong influence of Portuguese colonial architecture. Built on three levels, a unique layout allows for the use of elegant yet functional site from the cliff. Designed by architect Ulisses Morato (Brazil Morato Arquitetura) this beautiful home modern mountain design Architecture Award was awarded the 10th promoted by IAB-MG (Instituto dos Arquitetos do Brasil – Minas Gerais) in 2008, in the single family category, and is situated on top of a hill in Minas Gerais , Brazil, embraced by a broad valley and majestic mountains ringing.
