This volume is daylit from above. exterior is coated with copper, and left to weather. With the studio floor situated at a height of canopy trees, floor to ceiling picture window provides residents with panoramic views of wooded area outside. 1520 sf building was designed by Andrew Berman Architect as a library and studio for a writer. He was on the verge of an open field with fruit orchards, and densely forested region. Geometry of buildings and the circulation map the transition between the two landscapes. This research is situated at a height of tree canopies.
