Architect Nacho Ruiz and Jose Antonio Ruiz Allen Zon Esquiroz of e-Arquitectos has asked to come up with a solution of social housing in Degana small mining town in Spain, and by the looks of it, they have been doing sterling job. In a city where nothing new has been built over the past 25 years, new buildings continue to stay away from the public face of a mining village with angles and geometry of the volumetric profiles rich. Connecting two existing urban plot, a new structure houses 15 small apartments with beautiful views of the surrounding scenery, and has a black exterior (similar to coal) that is able to absorb most of the light
