What you see is the House Paraty located in Brazil . Structure minimalist, sharp, almost futuristic, dominates and imposes on the environment that surrounds it without overwhelming. Which is no mean feat. The villa was designed by Marcio Kogan , the architect intended the structure is inspired by Ingrid Bergman , Federico Fellini and Andy Warhol . Paraty House is located on one of the many islands near the homonymous town of Paraty , which is close to Rio de Janeiro . The project idea is simple: in essence, the house consists of two overlapping blocks, two “large drawers” place one on the other, of different sizes. The two elements are connected by an internal staircase.Marcio Kogan, maybe even to raise the expectation for the realization of the structure, which had anticipated would be his greatest creation.And in fact the design of the villa has a strong character that does not fail to arouse curiosity and surprise. Of course the quality materials used. The wonderful wood that can be seen in the photos, was used for the outer parts which lead to the pool . Long and narrow, as are all the rage now.

We move to Connecticut , in New Canaan , a town of only 19,000 inhabitants over the years has become a sort of symbolic city ’s modern architecture . And here are a large group of houses built in the ’50s, the symbol of those years. One hundred homes that are a real asset to be protected. What you see in the picture is called ” Glass House “, a glass house designed by the late architect Philip Johnson , who has recently been opened to the public.A real ” cube “of glass surrounded by acres of woods , set up inside with pieces of original Van Der Rohe , German architect who lived at the turn of last century, which must, among other things, the design of the Barcelona Pavilion , considered one of the masterpieces of the twentieth century.Track record than even that of Johnson who not only achieve this property of glass , has put his signature on some projects of international repute, the garden of MOMA to Sony and AT & T skyscrapers in Manhattan .
