The philosophy behind Perrinepod is that the house should be no more or less than its population needs, and a simple design and beautiful material should be able to stand the test of time: “Living spaces have become as transient and irrelevant as fashion”. Architect Jean mic Perrine has come up with a bold new idea – ready made, stackable, pod house expanded. Jean mic Perrine Perrinepod named project, and is a cute prefab home that can be built only within 3 days and withstand everything from earthquakes to cyclones.

The challenge, however, is to maximize the desired volume and space without hurting the environment scale. The result is a bold statement in the contextual environment, otherwise typical architectural homogeneous. 2-story home located in the foot, trapezium-shaped sub-standard 2900 square (269 sqm) lot and replaced with existing 600 square feet (56 sqm) dilapidated house. 2000 square feet (186 m²) house take shape as a result of the many strange forms, respect for local zoning codes as well as attention to privacy voiced by neighbors. Designed by DLFstudio, the project is located within walking distance of downtown Culver City, a small town on the west side of Los Angeles, California.

The whole house and even borrow furniture nuance, color and texture of American national flag and the theme is the unifying thread of the complete design. Even the smallest things like the towels in the kitchen following the pattern and in addition to showing off your love for your homeland, you add a new dimension to how you choose to decorate. Of course, with a change of identity can mean changes in color, like a bright spark for the Dutch orange or yellow light for the Aussies.
