A true delight. There are no other words to define the ‘ home of luxury that we’re about to talk. Just take a picture to be rushed to the impressed. Beautiful outside, beautiful inside. The house is absolutely functional, with all the modern conveniences without losing its original charm. Sofield is not new to these restructuring measures. He, among others, tackled the residence that was the great Douglas Fairbanks , in Los Angeles.
We return to “castle”. It has particularly high ceilings and large windows with hand-carved pillars and tunnels. A spiral staircase , all ‘inside of’ missed the main tower, leading to a bedroom with tiled floors.
