Hillclimber House in Los Angeles by Kovac Architects

In Pallisades Pacific Los Angeles, they managed to design a house with a contour that rises to a steep hill. They named (what else?) DPR Hillclimber. Using lots of stone and wood accents, they managed to create a modern minimalist design but subtle with classic accents. Until now, I believe the houses could not climb dead, but talented people from Kovac Architects made me reconsider my position.

Color Accents for a Miami Apartment

To contrast one type of bold style, the other rooms in the apartment equally bold and deliberately designed for a strong accent or a real green shades. Needless to say, this is clearly a brave choice as a living space … provided, Miami Beach is all about making bold design choices. Although he can run business based in New York, Ken Valenti apartment in Miami Beach has a very interesting theme. Namely, a strong focus on accent colors … even when all the white color. In fact, most of the apartment is designed to be all-white with very very minimal use of off-white color as a subtle accent intentionally.
