Houses for Sustainable Projects
Sustainable Housing Project is located in Tucuman, in the foothills, in a gated community in the town of Yerba Buena, the city housing is located west of the capital, San Miguel de Tucumán. It is located in Bioclimatic Zone II: Sub-watershed IIb warm. Prevailing wind is from south to north. Orientation sunlight is best for the North and the worst is East and West. Brought up on the field offset the housing axis to obtain the proper orientation, with the East-West axis to take advantage of the North-South cross-ventilation and sunlight for the best room in the North.
Camouflage Facade House with a Beautiful Result
Blurs the line between what is human, and what is not. When I saw the picture I was immediately thinking that this house will be perfect during the war, a perfect example of camouflage. I am sure that the design of mesh can be improved to increase the cover. This house has been wrapped in a facade that matches the green in the surrounding area, with wonderful results. Mesh hide is permeable to let the sunlight filters into the house. But it also allows the light from inside to radiate out. Leaving the building to sit anonymously by day, but emerge discretely at night.
FLARE System Building by Natural Light
And now that you have an idea of how this system works, and you see some pictures here is the most interesting part of this post, a video clip that shows a different pattern which is based on how slanted flakes reflect natural light. Each metal flake reflects the bright sky or sunlight when in vertical standby position. When the flake is tilted downwards by a computer controlled pneumatic piston, his face shaded from the light sky and in this way appear as dark pixels. By reflecting sunlight around or direct, individual flakes act like pixels combustion system formed by natural light.
